1. General These Terms of Service apply to the use of the Kiekki service (“Service”), provided by William Arts (Business ID 2061379-5). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. 2. Service Description Kiekki is an online platform for disc golf players to find courses, record rounds, follow their results, and organize tournaments and series. The Service is currently free but may include paid features in the future. Any paid features and their terms will be communicated separately before they are introduced. 3. User Account Users must create an account using an email address and password. Users are responsible for keeping their password confidential and for activity on their account. The Service is available only to users aged 13 and above. 4. User Content Users may add a profile picture, a username, round results, the contents of their disc bag, and comments or reactions related to games. Users are responsible for the legality and appropriateness of the content they add. If a user stores other people's names in the Service — for example as guest players or in a scorecard photo — the user is responsible for having the right to do so. Users retain the rights to their own content and grant William Arts the right to store and display it to the extent required for the Service to function. The Service may remove inappropriate or illegal content. 5. Public Visibility of Tournaments and Series Tournament pages and their leaderboards are public: they are visible without signing in and may appear in search engine results. A series leaderboard can additionally be shared via a public share link. Taking part in a tournament or series therefore means that your username and results are publicly visible. Your personal player profile, by contrast, is visible only to friends you have accepted. 6. AI-Assisted Features The Service includes features that use artificial intelligence: reading a scorecard from a photo and identifying a disc from a photo. The image you select is sent to Google Vertex AI (EU region europe-north1) for processing. The image is not stored in the Service. The AI result is always a suggestion that you review and confirm. William Arts does not guarantee the accuracy of the recognition. Use of these features is voluntary. Do not upload images containing unnecessary personal data. 7. Prohibited Use Users must not: • Violate any laws or the rights of others • Use the Service for misleading, offensive, or harmful purposes • Attempt to access other users’ data without authorization • Place automated load on the Service or otherwise disrupt its operation 8. Service Availability and Changes The Service is provided “as is”. William Arts may modify or discontinue parts of the Service. Significant changes will, where possible, be announced in advance in the Service. 9. Account Deletion and Suspension You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. When you do, your personal data is deleted in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Games, tournaments, and series that include other players are retained because of those players' results. The deleted user's data is detached from them and ownership is transferred to another participant. If there are no other participants, the content is deleted entirely. William Arts may suspend or restrict an account if these Terms are materially breached or if the account is used unlawfully. The user will be notified of any suspension unless the law requires otherwise. 10. Limitation of Liability The Service is a free service intended for recreational use. William Arts is not liable for indirect damages, data loss, service interruptions, or faults in third-party services, to the extent that limiting liability is permitted by law. This limitation does not apply to damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, and it does not restrict the rights granted to consumers under Finnish consumer protection law. Users are advised to keep their own backups of results that matter to them. You can download your own data from your profile settings. 11. Privacy User data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy. 12. Intellectual Property All Service content, including the logo and interface, belongs to William Arts. Users may use the content only for personal purposes. 13. Changes to These Terms These Terms may be updated. Significant changes will be announced in the Service, and users will be asked to accept the updated Terms when signing in. 14. Governing Law and Disputes These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Any disputes shall be resolved primarily through negotiation. A consumer may also refer a dispute to the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board (kuluttajariita.fi) or to the district court of their place of residence. 15.
